SOMETHING ABOUT ME

My name is Safet (best known as Sajo) Sarajlic. Pronounce this as Sayo Saraylich. My family name means The man from Sarajevo but I am not from Sarajevo. I am from Zenica a town in the center of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I am a stock analyst working at RMK Zenica (a big steel producer).

This picture is taken last summer in Dubrovnik. I was on a holiday-trip for the first time after the war in Bosnia. The beautiful scenery in back of me is Adriatic coast near Dubrovnik.

As you can see I am trying to recover after a wild night. The best receipt I know is a cup ofcoffee (a large one) and several glasses of orange juice. If all fails I really do not how to help myself and usually I have to stay in my bed for a couple of hours.

Maybe the best way is to stop drinking on time. How to know that it is the right time ?

Easy ! When a small green man walking on your table appears in front of you it is the right time to end with alcohol.
Sometimes a small, pink elephant appears on the table but at this point of the time is to late to quit.

I LIKE TRAVEL

Dubrovnik is a beautiful city with very old architecture. There was to many tourists durig the summer. The best time to visit Dubrovnik is September or May. At this time the weather is still fantastic there but without to many visitors and trafic jam on the streets.

I LIKE MUSIC

ROCK MUSIC

I like rock music. My favorite rock band is called Zabranjeno pusenje (in English it means something like "69 is not allowed here"). Their new CD is very good and I enjoy to listen it.

BOOKS AND NEWSPAPERS

I like to read. My favorite writer is KEMO MOHTEHO. The last book he wrote is published on the net. Unfortunately you can't read this because this text is written in Bosnian language, but for those who can this, here is it: PATHA POMAHCA Y KBAPTY XPACHO. Enjoy reading!

I am also very interested in reading electronic books and newspapers on the Net. Here is my favorit, a weekly magazine called Dani (Days) published on the net (sorry it is in Bosnian to).

MY FRIENDS

I have to work much and have not to mach time for social life. Sometimes I am visiting my friends, going out and have fun. You can read more about my best friend Zeljko Antonic called Zeljo (do not try to pronounce his name, it is not possible to you).

MY PET

I like cats, the real ones. This is a picture of my cat Micika.

She is a princess. I adopted her last winter. Micika is an incredible mixture of all cat breads. She likes to be on the sunniest place on my balcony. Her favorite food is fresh fish. There is always a lot of fish in the fridge.

FISHING AND OUTDOOR LIFE

I like go fishing. Now, after the war in Bosnia the rivers are clean. It is because the industry is not working and polluting the rivers.

My favorite fishing place are the river Lasva near Travnik and the river Bosna near Zenica. The rivers are cold mountain rivers with lot of fish. There are also some salmon breads. The favorite fish is salmon trout.
The biggest one I have caugth was almost 0.5m long (1,25 kg ). Click here to see this particular place I have caught this fish. The name of the river is Bila what means The White River in Bosnian language.
